SMM7 March 25: the Shanghai Municipal solid waste Management regulations (hereinafter referred to as the "new regulations") were formally implemented on July 1. the new regulations point out that if garbage is not sorted in accordance with the regulations, a fine of not less than 50 yuan and not more than 200 yuan will be imposed on individuals, and a maximum fine of 50, 000 yuan will be imposed on units that fail to classify and put in accordance with the regulations. If a domestic waste collection and transportation unit or a disposal unit fails to abide by the corresponding standards, it shall be fined up to 100000 yuan and 500000 yuan respectively, and if the circumstances are serious, the business service license of the unit shall be revoked. At this point, Shanghai has entered a new era of garbage classification, which is "the strictest in history". Not only in Shanghai, the craze of garbage sorting is also sweeping across the country. According to the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, by the end of 2020, 46 key cities will basically build garbage sorting and disposal systems.

Stainless steel and metal trash bins account for about 1/4 of the market share.

Users from Shanghai bought 85% of the classified bins. Because sales are so hot, some stores even impose restrictions on the purchase of trash cans.

Not only are some residents starting to change trash bins, but some outdoor trash bins located on the streets of the city are also starting to change. At present, there are generally four kinds of outdoor trash bins: metal outdoor dustbins, wooden outdoor trash bins, plastic trash bins, environmental protection dustbins, stainless steel and galvanized steel dustbins in metal outdoor dustbins.

According to Ali data, in the last 30 days, the hot materials of the trash can industry in the 1688 market are plastic, stainless steel, metal, leather and marble. In terms of price, the plastic trash can which accounts for the majority of the market share is less than 8.5 yuan, while the real 201pic304 stainless steel trash can has a price range of more than 300 yuan to thousands of yuan. Among them, the 1688 purchasing index of plastic and stainless steel far exceeds the remaining three materials, and it is expected that plastic and stainless steel trash bins will still be the main force in the industry in the coming month.

The cost of stainless steel metal trash can is high.

In metal trash cans, stainless steel is a relatively high-cost material, galvanized sheet, iron baking paint and other products are cheaper.

Galvanized steel is coated with a layer of metal zinc on the surface of ordinary steel. his purpose is to make use of the corrosion resistance of zinc to make the original high-carbon steel corrosion resistant, and the price of galvanized steel is a little lower than that of stainless steel. from the point of view of use, the characteristics shown in the short term are not much different.

Iron baking paint is an ordinary iron sheet coated with a layer of paint and baked to prevent it from rusting. the cost of this raw material is low, but its corrosion resistance is not as good as stainless steel. This process is used in the metal frame of some wooden trash cans.

From the metal dustbin industry standard QB/T 4902-2016, it can be seen that the product named "metal dustbin" can be replaced not only with stainless steel, but also with other metal materials, such as galvanized steel, other metal materials, etc., as long as its structural strength meets the requirements:

Section 5.5 has no complex requirements for the structural strength of metal dustbins, the main requirements are two points:

A) when the product is 1m from the ground, there is no obvious deformation, damage and other abnormal phenomena after two times of self-falling body;

B) when the product is loaded with tap water with clear effective volume, there is no obvious deformation, breakage and other abnormal phenomena after keeping (60 ±5) min.

Therefore, when purchasing stainless steel trash bins, you need to see its material description clearly. Some of the products advertised as stainless steel trash bins are not really made of 201gray 304 stainless steel.

Stainless steel trash cans become "new darlings" on the street

Stainless steel has high durability because of its resistance to weak corrosion media such as air, steam, water and chemical corrosion media such as acid, alkali and salt. The corrosion resistance of stainless steel decreases with the increase of carbon content, so the carbon content of most stainless steels is lower, the maximum is no more than 1.2%, and the omega c (carbon content) of some steels is even less than 0.03% (such as 00Cr12). The main alloy element in stainless steel is Cr (chromium). Only when the content of Cr reaches a certain value, the steel has corrosion resistance. Therefore, the general Cr (chromium) content of stainless steel is at least 10.5%. Stainless steel also contains Ni, Ti, Mn, N, Nb, Mo, Si, Cu and other elements.

Stainless steel trash can as a widely used type of garbage can, the appearance is also relatively beautiful, but also easy to clean and maintain. In public places, the surface of stainless steel is often doodled, but an important feature of stainless steel is that it can be washed off, which is a remarkable feature that stainless steel is superior to aluminum. The surface of aluminum is easy to leave traces and is often difficult to remove. When cleaning the surface of stainless steel, it should be cleaned along the lines of stainless steel, because some of the lines of surface processing are unidirectional.

Stainless steel is most suitable for hospitals or other areas where sanitary conditions are critical, such as food processing, catering, brewing and chemical industry, not only because it is easy to clean every day, but also because it is not easy to breed bacteria, and experiments have shown that it has the same properties as glass and ceramics. The material characteristics of stainless steel dustbins make it very environmentally friendly and recyclable. because of this advantage, stainless steel trash bins are also key energy-saving products promoted by the state.

In addition, although they are both stainless steel, 201 and 304 stainless steel trash bins are also different.

304 stainless steel is a kind of common stainless steel, which has the characteristics of good processability and high toughness, so it is widely used in industry, furniture decoration industry and food medical industry. 304 as a universal stainless steel, in order to maintain the inherent corrosion resistance of stainless steel, steel must contain more than 18% chromium and more than 8% nickel. The 201 stainless steel, compared with 304, reduces the content of nickel and increases the content of manganese, has certain acid and alkali resistance, high density, polishing without air bubbles, no pinholes and so on, so it is a high quality material for producing all kinds of watch case, band bottom cover and so on. Mainly used for decorative pipe, industrial pipe, some shallow stretched products. The disadvantage of this series of materials is that the chromium content of less than 18% is out of balance with the low nickel content, resulting in ferrite. For this reason, the chromium content in 200 series stainless steel is reduced to 13.5% 15%, and in some cases to 13% 14%. Its corrosion resistance can not be compared with 304 and other similar steels.

Measure the extent of stainless steel consumption driven by the upgrading of garbage bins in cities after the implementation of garbage classification.

According to the data of the top 50 cities in the China Urban Construction Statistical Yearbook, the total urban area is 16000 square kilometers. it is assumed that every square kilometer (equivalent to the area of 140football fields) needs to add 1/4 public dustbins within a year, of which metal bins account for 1/4, while stainless steel accounts for only 40% of them due to high cost. The potential new demand is 16000-5000000.

Metal classified trash bins are mainly used in public places. Take double compartments as an example, the conventional size is about 1000 "1000" 380 mm. If the top cover area is removed, the required steel plate area is 1000 "1000" 2 + 1000 "380" 3. Assuming that the thickness of the stainless steel plate used is 1 mm and the density is 7.93 (201 and 304 generally use this density to calculate the weight), the weight of stainless steel plate that can be consumed by a stainless steel sorting bin is

According to a comprehensive calculation, the garbage can orders are hot after the stainless steel classification has been greatly promoted in the city. at present, the quantity in the urban area is not enough to obviously drive consumption, and at most it can offset the crude steel output of a small steel mill in a month. However, the above estimated consumption only takes into account the top 50 urban areas in China, and if the vast suburbs and township areas are not taken into account, there is still slightly considerable room for growth, which can be ten or even dozens of times more than the estimated value. in other words, consumption can be increased by at most 50-1 million tons, but this new consumption figure will take many years to reach.
